Accreditation in the electric energy industry

The Measurements-Testing Laboratory of MVM ERBE Ltd. has been successfully accredited by the National Accrediting Body for various power engineering measurements, as well as the measurement and definition of performance and efficiency of power plant facilities and main equipment. The accreditation is valid for the measurement of power output, temperature, pressure, differential pressure, relative humidity, vibration, noise, the O₂ and CO content of flue gas, the measurement / calculation of thermal output and, from all these, the definition of the performance and efficiency of power plants based on coal, hydrocarbon, renewable and nuclear energy sources.

ollowing the measurements carried out by the accredited testing laboratory, an official report is issued which, as a result of the accreditation, is internationally recognized all over the European Union. In the near future the Corporate Management plans to extend the activities of the Measurements - Testing Laboratory together with the scope of validity of the accreditation by the sampling and on-site analysis of gases emitted by fixed air pollutant point sources. The aim of the Management is, therefore, to provide for its clients a complex measuring service in the field of power engineering and environment protection which will fully meet the measuring demands of companies operating and maintaining power facilities.
