ERBE jubilee marked by business forum day and environment protection

The 60th anniversary of the foundation of MVM ERBE Power Engineering & Consulting Ltd was marked by a BUSINESS FORUM DAY in the "Jedlik Ányos" conference room of the Hungarian Power Companies (MVM) on 4 February 2010.

The aim of the business forum day was to present to a large audience the beginnings, achievements, professional skills and competences, as well as the prospects for the future.

After the opening speeches by Mr. Imre Mártha, Chief Executive Officer of MVM and Mr. Antal Vavrik, General Director of MVM ERBE, Mr. Vavrik gave a power point presentation about the past 60 years of the company, with special emphasis on the references of the last 20 years.
The business forum day continued by the presentations of four young specialists, Mr. Gábor Eörsi-Tóta, Mr. András Katona, Mr. Gábor Kovács and Ms. Zsuzsanna Rudi, all of them excellent examples of how the company can successfully operate with a young team of an average age of 43 years, by employing the most state-of-the-art tools to perform high standard engineering work in the preparation and implementation of power projects.  The company is the market leader in power plant projects based on nuclear, coal and renewable energy sources, keeping environment protection always in the focus.

In line with this commitment the event was also dedicated to environment protection.
Mr. Antal Vavrik handed over a deed of gift about the donation of 10 pieces of Manna Ash (Fraxinus Ornus) "Mecsek" to Mr. Zoltán Somogyi, representative of District XI Local Government. The trees were planted in Nádorliget Street in District XI on 23 March, 2010.
